Giant Schnauzer rescue have a 2 year old female black Giant looking for a new home, she is currently being cared for in a foster home. Olive is looking for an experienced owner, ideally someone used to handling/training a Giant or large breed before as she needs to carry on her training. She is a typical young Giant, 34kg, full of beans and loves to run at top speed, very friendly with people and also strangers. Olive is looking for a home with no other dogs.

Whilst she is good with children, due to her reactivity to other dogs, a home with no children is preferred.

Olive has been vet checked, and will have 5 weeks free insurance cover provided by Agria.

Good Points Points to Consider
✅ Loving and affectionate, likes a cuddle, and belly tickle ❌ Needs a home with no other dogs
✅ House trained ❌ Lead walking currently needs ongoing training
✅ Well behaved in the house ❌ Needs ongoing training to stop jumping up when eager to greet someone
✅ Knows basic commands: Sit, stand, stay, wait, watch, leave, off. And a few tricks: catch, twirl (spin) ❌ Needs ongoing training to pass by and ignore other dogs without pulling
✅ Good at recalls to both name and dog whistle
✅ Fine if left for a few hours at home
✅ Good at being groomed
✅ Socialised to traffic, noises & daily life
✅ Confident and outgoing
✅ Good at traveling, jumps in and out of hatchback car
